Genshin Impact is a famous role-playing game where the user can play any character that they have acquired, and one of these characters is Thoma. Thoma is a Pyro character that was introduced into the game with the version 2.2 update.
Thoma’s backstory is that he was the housekeeper of the Yashiro Commission’s Kashimoto clan. He was also revered as a “fixer” in Inazuma. He hails from Mondstadt and has a very charming and easygoing personality, but he also takes his responsibilities very seriously.
Thoma Talent Materials
Following is a list comprised of all the materials required to level up Thoma’s talents and also the locations of said materials:
Teachings of Transience – You have to find 9 Teachings of Transience. These are received as a reward for completing the Domain of Mastery: Reign of Violet I located in Inazuma.
Guide to Transience – 63 Guide to Transience are required and these can be obtained after completing the Domain of Mastery: Reign of Violet II/III.
Philosophies of Transience – These can be obtained upon completing the Domain of Mastery: Reign of Violet IV, and you will need a total of 114 of them.
Treasure Hoarder Insignia – In the north of Minlin can be found a mob by the name of Treasure Hoarder and if you defeat them, they drop the Treasure Hoarder Insignia. Make sure to collect 18 of those.
Silver Raven Insignia – If you defeat level 40+ Treasure Hoarder then it will drop the Silver Raven Insignia. These can also be crafted by combining three Treasure Hoarder Insignia. 66 of these are required in total.
Golden Raven Insignia – After defeating level 60+ Treasure Hoarders Golden Raven Insignias can be procured. It is also possible to craft by using three Silver Raven Insignias. You must attain 93 of these.
Hellfire Butterfly – Hellfire Butterflies are difficult to obtain since to acquire them you will not only need to clear the level 70+ La Signora Trounce Domain but they can only be obtained as a random reward for getting through the challenge. You will need 18 of them so good luck.
Crown of Insight – There are several ways to get a Crown of Insight, but you only need 3 in total. We recommend upgrading the Sacred Sakura’s Favor as you receive one at levels 5, 15, 25, 35, and 45. You can also acquire it from special event shops so do keep an eye out for it.

Thoma Ascension Materials
If you plan on using Thoma in your team which we are assuming you do, then you will want to ascend him for which the following materials are required:
Smoldering Pearl – You are going to have to collect 46 Smoldering Pearls. These are dropped by the boss, Pyro Hypostasis, upon defeat and he can be found in the Kannazuka area of Inazuma.
Fluorescent Fungus – This can only be found on Tsurumi Island in the Inazuma region. You will need patience with this one since 168 of them are required in total.
Agnidus Agate Silver – This can be procured by defeating Lupus Boreas, Pyro Regisvine, or Pyro Hypostasis. You can also purchase it from the Souvenir shop in either Mondstadt or Liyue Harbor. You will only need 1 of these.
Agnidus Agate Fragment – You must collect 9 of these. You can obtain them upon defeating Lv. 40+ Lupus Boreas, Pyro Regisvine, or Pyro Hypostasis. It can also be crafted using three Agnidus Agate Silver.
Agnidus Agate Chunk – Upon defeating Lv. 60+ Lupus Boreas, Pyro Regisvine, or Pyro Hypostasis, Agnidus Agate Chunk can be acquired. You can also craft them which will require three Agnidus Agate Silver for one Agnidus Agate Chunk. You need 9 of these as well.
Agnidus Agate Gemstone – Collect 6 of these by winning against Lv. 75+ Lupus Boreas, Pyro Regisvine, or Pyro Hypostasis. After consuming three Agnidus Agate Chunks in the process an Agnidus Agate Gemstone can also be crafted.
Treasure Hoarder Insignia – There are 18 of these required throughout the process. Its location is mentioned above under Thoma’s Talent Materials.
Silver Raven Insignia – You will need 30 of these. Its location also can be found under Thoma’s Talent Materials above.
Golden Raven Insignia – A total of 36 of these are required. We have mentioned its location above as well.
