Error 1 – Error Code: 2110-3127 (Unable to connect your device to a wired or wireless network)
- This error code indicates that issue is with the DNS Settings.
- Recheck the ISP or DNS configurations in the console internet settings.
- Try updating your Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4.

Error 2 – Error Code: 2124-8006 (Nintendo Account to Console linking error)
- Generally, this error is because of slow internet connection or the weak signal from your WiFi router.
- Check your connection timeout settings, firewall, and DNS configurations.

Error 3 – Error Code: 2110-1100 (Unable to connect your device to the network)
- This error code indicates that USB LAN adapter is not correctly installed.
- Another option is your device is unable to connect to a network from your saved network connections.
Error 4 – Error Code: 2110-2900 until 2110-2999 (Router’s DHCP is disabled)
- This range of error code generally indicates the issue with router’s DHCP server is disabled or not correctly installed.
- How to do the DNS settings Manually
- Before connecting to a network for authentication through some kind of web browser update the Nintendo Switch console to latest menu version.
- Preferably system menu version 2.0.0.
- Now try connecting online followed by the authentication process.
How to Manually Enter DNS Settings
- Go to Network connection settings –> Advance Settings –> then select DNS settings
- Click on Manual option
- Select Primary DNS – Hold on B button to delete the value(Default value is 000.000.000.000)
- Enter the Primary DNS value as 8.8.8.8
- Do the same for Secondary DNS but with the value as 8.8.4.4
How to Access the Router’s Settings Page
Use a PC or Laptop for this process.
Windows OS
- Go to command prompt (Windows key + r –> type ‘cmd’)
- Type ipconfig/all and press Enter.
- Scroll through the list to find the following settings
- DNS Server
- Default Gateway
- Subnet mask
- IP Address or the IPv4 address
Mac OS
- Choose System Preference and then Internet and Network, then Select Network
- Click on the Active connection which says connected
- Click on Advanced and TCP/IP button
- Scroll through the list to find the following settings
- DNS Server
- Default Gateway
- Subnet mask
- IP Address or the IPv4 address
